Three Steps to Become a World Class Singer

Three Steps to Become a World Class Singer. How can you become a world class singer? How can you elevate yourself above 95% of all singers on earth? Inside this video I’ll give you three steps to become a world class singer to put yourself in the top 3-5% of singers on planet earth!

Here are three things you can learn to do that will place you in  “world class” status as a singer.

Three Steps to Become a World Class Singer

Three Steps to Become a World Class Singer

#1. Learn to sing from low to high notes without straining, pulling chest voice, cracking, breaking into falsetto or breathiness.

When I started singing as a youth, I couldn’t sing higher than the E above middle C without straining or breaking. I thought this was the top end of my voice. Most men experience this same problem at this or other pitches near by.

Women face this same problem in the middle range of their voices. They call it their “break area”.

This is a universal problem almost every singer on earth faces.

Men, the fact is you are not at the top of your voice. You are at a bridge or junction in your voice. It’s a bridge or junction between your low and high voice. I am not talking about a falsetto voice with limited power.

With special exercises and training, you can learn to sing higher without disconnecting into falsetto. This is called head voice and it can be very powerful.

Ladies, you can eliminate your break area so there’s no change in the sound of your voice between your lower and upper range. You can learn to sing without worrying about embarrassing cracking, breaking or straining.

This is called “Bridging”. It’s called bridging because you learn to sing from chest to connected head voice (not disconnected falsetto) by singing in and through the vocal bridge or passaggio.

Doing this eliminates strain and breaks in the voice, increases your range (in my case over an octave), improves your tone and power of your voice.

Learning to bridge will give you an ability 95-98% of the rest of the singers in the world cannot do. Even many popular recording artists can’t do it.

#2. Learning to balance your voice will help you get strength and power in your singing. By balance I mean finding a balance between the air from the lungs and the vocal cords to reach optimal development and function of your vocal cords.  [Demo]

This takes time. But your progression will go something like this.

  • Learn to Bridge.

  • Balance Your voice with exercises like these. They will develop vocal power and confidence throughout your range. Exercises like these:[Demo bubble lips, ney, gee, new-no]

  • With the voice balanced an even, steady vibrato can emerge.  By balancing your voice YOU CAN GAIN or  IMPROVE YOUR VIBRATO!!!!  [Demo] Watch episodes 59 and 60 to learn how to do vibrato.

#3. Bridge with a balanced voice and vibrato on every pitch in your voice.  You learn to do this by practicing the exercises above in each register of your voice, chest, middle or bridge, and head voice. [demo same exercises in chest, middle and head]

Follow these three steps and you’ll rank as world-class because 95% of the rest of mankind can’t do it!

Three Steps to Become a World Class Singer – Learn Your Vocal Type

A powerful shortcut to become a world class singer is to learn your vocal type. I’m not talking about whether you’re soprano, alto, tenor or bass. Your vocal type is what you tend to do when you sing through the bridge or break area in your voice.

Do you strain? Break? Flip into falsetto? Go breathy or light? Mix?

To discover your vocal type go to and take the vocal test, which I call the PowerTest. Take the quiz and discover your vocal type.

Then go to the Knowledge Center and watch the videos about your vocal type. Download the free exercises and start practicing them. These exercises are designed to help you learn to bridge, which is the first step for you to become a world class singer.

I’m Chuck Gilmore with Power To Sing. You can sing higher with beauty, confidence and power.

I’ll see you inside the next video.
